Growing a talent pipeline requires students and teachers to learn more about professions and industries, especially in a rapidly changing and technologically advancing world. Raise the Bar aims to connect employers with education providers to bring real-world scenarios into more classrooms and to afford more students and educators first-hand experience interacting with the workspaces and employees they may one day join.

This form provides school leaders introductory information about an employer, including the right point of contact. Schools and employers can schedule the most appropriate engagement activity for students and track the success.
Business Advisory Council.
Raise the Bar supports the Hancock County ESC with implementing the state-required Business Advisory Council (BAC).
BAC members are employees from any company operating within Hancock County. The BAC meets approximately once per quarter. Raise the Bar and the ESC inform school district leaders of the BAC’s recommendations to enhance school curriculum.
Educator and student Tours.
Raise the Bar connects K-12 educators and social service mentors/career coaches with employers to observe the industry and its occupations.
